New Macbook Pro - Will Norton for Mac work for both the Mac and the virtual machine (Win7)?

Hello,

I just purchased a Macbook Pro. I am a totally new Mac user, having worked with Windows for the last 16 years.

I have been using Norton on my Windows machine for years.

My Mac is running Parallels with Win7 on the virtual machine side.

My question is: can I run Norton for Mac and cover both sides of the coin, so to speak, or do I need to have a subscription to Norton for Mac for the Mac side, and a separate subscription to Norton for Windows for the Win7 side?
