Ever since I installed the 2011 version of Norton Internet Security on my HP Presario F550 with Vista, my HP Total Advisor has stopped working. I looked online, and it was recommended that I update my Advisor. I did this with two versions (SP50046 and SP43112). Neither worked. In fact, it has made things worst. It now ties up my computer saying that it can’t find d2d1.dll, and won’t allow me to restore to an earlier backup point. This has been going on for over a week, now. There are other items not working right (e.g., Acrobat Distiller Stopped Working), but this doesn't tie up my computer like the Adviser being stopped by NIS from working. I tried using your virtual Agent Nathan, but just got a useless run around for about 15 minutes reasking what my problem was and giving unrelated solutions.
