Just realised that there is a new logo for Norton.
I trust that this also affect the safeweb GREEN logo on IE & FF.
Looks alittle like the CHECK logos that appear in Verisign.
Just a thought.
Cheers

Actually, it is the checkmark logo of VeriSign, which Symantec acquired a few months ago. I'm sure that Symantec would be pleased that you noticed!

Yes, that was what I thought too.....but personally, I like their old logo better, the new one looks more like a MARKETING Seal for ONLINE shopping....but then again, maybe Symentec meant to tell the world that they are so secure that a "check" logo is as secure as SSL.
It also look like a check mark given by West Coast Lab....
I think Norton should launch its own verified by Symantec seal like Mcafee and comodo. It would certainly boost Symantec’s brand name. I actually like Norton’s new logo. Its cleaner and more simplistic. Did you notice that in the past the Norton name doesn’t include from Symantec.
I got a feeling more changes will coming.........
Yes, Symentec should stick to the last logo (the logo you can see when you do the installation).
The new one looks too common....without the Norton by Symentec name....no one knows it was Symantec.
P/S :- Can anyone see if the Norton SafeWeb logo on IE or FF has changed?
What do you mean safeweb logo?
It is okay,
I will check it later tonight.
Thank you
I am kinda found of the Symantec’s signature yin-yan logo. The checkmark seems too generic.
