Updated to Version 17.1.0.19 tonight and after restarting computer, NIS 2010 is STILL giving problems.
The ccSvcHst.exe file is STILL hogging 50% of the bloody CPU, despite claims that the patch fixed a leak. When are Symantec going to stop treating customers as unpaid beta testers ?
I've tried on EIGHT occasions now to use chat support to fix this and have wasted over TEN hours being advised ever so slowly, escalated and fobbed off. It also seems I've wasted my money buying NIS 2010. Is this error ever going to be bloody fixed or do I have to buy some other product ?
