New Rating check

After Norton detect malware, I am checking for new rating but that does not work.

@Ranjan313 I’ve never used that feature so I have no tips for you. However if you;re looking for information on wenativehost.exe that Norton flagged as a malware, here’s some general information. wenativehost.exe Windows process - What is it? It site notes that this “file is typically located in the directory C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Softdeluxe\Free Download Manager on your computer… If wenativehost.exe is located in a subfolder of “C:\Program Files”, the security rating is 48% dangerous.”

What puzzles me is Norton’s threat report shows this file was installed on your PC on 09/08/22 so I’m wondering why Norton’s flagging it now. The report also indicates the file was released 5 days ago. Not sure what to make of it but hopefully others in the community with more experience dealing with malwares on their PCs will be able to shed some light.

My “go to” for scanning questionable files is VirusTotal. It will scan uploaded files for malware and also run it in a couple of sandboxes. VirusTotal
