I recently bought NIS at a great price. When I got the warning screen to that it was time to renew my subscription (expiring in 30 days), I clicked on "renew" and got a screen asking if I had a new product code I wanted to use.
I clicked that link and typed in the new typed in the new Product Key on 1/12/12. My original sunscription was due to expire on 2/13/11 and I expected to see a new expiration date of 2/13/13. That;s pretty much what happened last year. The system simply extended the existing expiration date for 12 months.
When everything was done, my account showed a expiration date of 1/13/13 instead of 2/13/13. Essentially, I have lost one month on my subscription.
I am hoping a Symantec/Norton employee sees this message and contacts me to help reset my subscription (3 PCs) to 2/13/13. The reason I am taking this step is because of trying to deal with "Nathan" the virtual employee. After 3 attempts, it is clear that Nathan needs to experience some virtual downsizing. He is pretty much no help to me or himself and firing a list of questions at me that have nothing to do with my issue is just annoying.
