Can you post an image of the pop up of Norton Internet Security BF using screen capture and the paint programme or use the snipping tool (see help and support from the start menu).
How to post an image in the Norton forum link below. Please check that personal information is edited out this can be done using the paint programme see help and support from the start menu. Your image may take some time for a moderator to validate it, until then you will see a box with a triangle in it.
Thanks for the image and the translation but I have never seen this before or heard of it I have had a look on the forum and as you say there is no information even in the Mac forum (link below) where I am going to ask a moderator to move this thread to for better exposure. You thread will remain here and when you click on it there will be a link to the Mac forum, where you can post if you need to in the future.
I can see it says Norton Internet Security BF it may well be Norton and relate to the Mac version of the product or even the country you are in.
There is a question mark on the left hand side of the image I’m not asking you to click on it but have you clicked on it and if so what does it bring up. The reason I’m not asking you to click on it is if you get a pop up, to close it is better to use the red button at the top right hand side as the other options can do the same thing which could be malicious.
If you don’t have an answer there’s an option below and if you can’t post an image you can provide a link to this thread.
Try live chat on the keyboard it’s free, with a Norton representative on the link below. Vary the times of day you try, as it’s difficult to know when they are busy.
The Norton represenative may ask you to allow a remote access connection.
The Symantec support article here that explains how to trust specific websites using your Safari browser might be helpful.
I use a Windows version of NIS, but I think the "BF" in the Mac version stands for Browser Framework and is related to the Norton SafeWeb extension for your browser that analyzes and rates the safety of websites - see the support article here.

Many thanks Intesec and Imacri for your answers and help. Yes, the pop up message is indeed from the Norton software and not a pernicious third party module.
I managed to follow your instructions and unabled the pop up message.
