I just paid $99 to update my Norton Security and installed the new version. Now, all of a sudden, all access to Google websites is apparently blocked. I get an "Unable to Connect" page when I try to go to google.com or to my Gmail. I've searched through the Firewall settings for something to allow this particular web location, but have come up empty. Searched the forums and found plenty of complaints but no solutions. The only thing that seemed to work for me was to shut off the "smart" firewall and leave my computer at risk.
In short, I am experiencing buyer's remorse. Please give me some solution other than shutting off the firewall, because if I have to disable it to use my computer, or go through some sort of hacker gymnastics to get it to work, I have to wonder why I bought it in the first place.
I am using Windows 7, accessing the Internet through a router at my home, and have had no problems with connecting to any websites until I installed your latest software.
Absent some sort of solution, please advise me on how to go about getting a refund.
