PC:
Win XP SP3, Office, no games, some reputable programmes that have been working fine for years. / Norton Ghost 15.0 .
the system does build a new recovery point base, but cannot add an incremental backup some days later.
the run stops ('forever') at a 1% progress while comparing extension C with the old backup-file.
when i abort the run, the indication jumps to 4% and not until then a small blue window turns up, indicating
that a recovery point is being made. (this logically should have turned up before.) then a lot of error-reports show up.

this gives details like "error ebab03e9", ...
the incremental backup did work in the very beginning (3 months ago), when i tried to check on day 1, 2 and 3 after the start.
when i needed it 1 month later the malfunction occured.
don't ask me, what i have changed on the pc in the meantime. surely some things, but nothing serious.
to fix the problem i have de- and re-installed NG15 four times now and i won't do it a fifth.
to help, i have cleaned the pc with:
Avast Antivirus, Spybot Search&Destroy, Malwarebytes AntiMalware, RevoUninstaller, Wise Registry Cleaner.
when i am doing the invcremental backup, all of these are de-activated.
when turning off the pc it says there was something wrong with VProSvC.exe .
does anyone have the knowledge and friendliness to help?
