I borrought Ghost 15 from a friend to see if it works on my computer with a dual boot of Windows XP and Windows 7 x64.
I used to use Ghost 12 in the past, but it won't work on Windows 7 x64. And before buying Ghost myself I want to know if it works correctly.
Installing and running Ghost on Windows 7 x64 works perfect. Making backups is no problem. I have 9 partitions in totall.
I use one partition of the internal drives for Ghost backups and an external eSata drive.
Now, when I want to recover one of my previously made backups I boot into the Ghost Recovery Environment using the CD.
I know I need extra drivers for the eSata disc and that is not an issue. I can always locate and recover the backups on the Esata drive. But two of the 9 partitions are not accessible in the recovery environment. The bad part is that one of them is my backup partition. So I am not able to recover any of the backups on my internal drive. I know The drive letters are swapped around in the Recovery Environment and there are 9 drives visible (internal) in total, but two I can't access.
Anybody know how I can fix this issue?
Otherwise Ghost is not gonna be an option for me....
