Spent three plus hours on this already today; Norton support remotely connected to my PC and ultimately did a remove and reinstall. Actually I did the reinstall since they disconnected after the last restart and NEVER came back. Remove and Reinstall is a PITA as it takes multiple tries to get it to work for some reason; Running Win 7 Home Premium btw. The most recent Live Update with Patch resulted in this change--when I click Log Ins list on IDSafe and attempt to scroll, the entire list "flashes/blinks". This did not occur prior to this most recent update. After RNR processed, and a few choice words uttered, the list was behaving as it should; however, once I did a Live Update another patch was applied even though I said Apply Later, and I am back to where I started. I cannot imagine this is anything other than a glitch in NIS as it was working fine prior and I have not updated or installed any other programs. Considering a system restore but doubt that will help.
Anyone else have this issue? By the way, received a phone call from a "restricted number" over an hour later after I had completed the reinstall; person telling me they were from Norton and were asking questions but I couldn't understand due to the connection. I don't give out information to restricted numbers and so the call was ended. I received NO other follow up, no email--though I provided it, no copy of the chat NOTHING.
Yes I am frustrated; and I refuse to do another remote connection or remove and reinstall at this point. Fix your software.
