Is it reasonable to use NIS 11 if I only have 1G of RAM? I am operating Windows XP Pro with 1G of RAM. My current security system uses a considerable amount of RAM and sometimes up to 100% of RAM for a long time, effectively freezing the computer. I just have to shut down so I am looking to change the product.
I am looking for an internet security suite that won't be a memory hog. I cannot add memory to the laptop.
I am using NIS11 on a new laptop with 4G of RAM. So far this is working well, but I am concerned about using it with 1G.
Any thoughts and suggestions?
