will there be a live update from nis 13 to 14 or do I have to update manually?

To go from the 2013 (NIS20) to the 2014 version, you have to manually upgrade by downloading and installing the packet from www.Norton.com/latestnis

If you have your LiveUpdate setting to Automatic Download of New Version set to On, eventually NIS will download the upgrade and ask if you want to install it. I'm not sure when that would get downloaded.

 

The quicker way is to go to Support - New Version Check from the main NIS screen , and follow the prompts.
