Greetings to all,
I have a small problem since I've upgraded to the latest version of NIS 18.5.0.125.
The problem is that the idle scans (idle quick scan, Norton insight) and the process of updating the antiphishing definitions run normally but when they finish to work, the process ccsvhst System runs constantly and I must shutdown Windows to stop it.
When I reboot, even if there are no new Norton updates and I leave my pc to reach the Idle time for Norton (set to 2 minutes), I see the orange light of my laptop, indicating that some process is running to flash continuously. I open the task manager and the only process running is ccsvhst System at about 16-25%
If this can help, I always set the idle scans to off (Full scan), I run liveupdate manually, (automatic set also to OFF), and the Optimizer and Norton Community are also disabled.
I run Windows XP SP3 Pro with no other additional spyware programs, with 512 mb of RAM.
Any advise would be very welcome.
