Environment:
Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
Outlook 2007
I.E. 10
Bell South DSL
After updating to NIS 20.4, Outlook shows a red X instead of pictures in messages. The pictures were shown before the NIS update.
If I read the same message from the web access, the pictures are there.
Deleating and rebuilding the Outlook profile did not help.
The Outlook "Don't download pictures..." box is not checked.
The scan after clicking Support/Get Support did not find any issues.
Adobe Flash is updated and there are no old versions installed.
Is there a solution for this?
Did you restart your computer just before the images reappeared? It is possible there were Norton or Windows components waiting for a restart before they all work well together.
