Dear Community Members,
I'm still on NIS2005, which has worked to my satisfaction thanks to the updates I've been subscribing to.
However, just recently "ordinary" users cannot perform virus-scans on files. They get a dialogbox stating
"Norton AntiVirus was unable to scan your computer for infections because some Norton AntiVirus components are missing"
The error code is 3019,6
None of the suggestions on the Norton web-page are applicable in this case.
My NIS2005 still works as a charm when I logon to Windows as Administrator.
(Win XP Pro, SP3)
What should I do to give my "ordinary" users the ability to scan files for viruses?
I've run systems scans with NIS2005 and some other tools, suggested by helpers in other forums, and everything indicates that my computer is free from infections.
Thanks for your help
