I am running Norton 2006 on XP SP2. I have a Dell laptop running a wireless connection to a Qwest DSL modem. When I run the Symantec Security Check program the program is using the Qwest WAN IP address of [Removed]
My pc IP address is [Removed]
My Qwest modem gateway IP address is [Removed]
Is my pc really being checked???? I would think you should be able to input the IP address of the machine you want scanned similar to the MS baseline security analyzer.
Symantec support says that there is no problem.
