Open Firefox. Go to the menu bar (top left hand corner)> Click Tools>Options>Content. Untick where it says Block Pop Ups, and leave all the other boxes ticked.

Alternate - just allow pop-up rights to the site being suppressed ( www.ustream.tv). It works - and I managed to get FF toask me if I wanted to let the pop-up go through once. IE 7 does the same - and the solution is the same too.
I'm curious about why we needed to do this at all. It's not a pop-up (at least, not as i understand pop-ups) that opens a new tab / window.
Still, it works and it's yet another neato trick to store away for future reference.
