I'm considering migrating from Zone Alarm to NIS 2008. One great feature in ZA is the ability to "lockdown" the firewall with two mouse clicks. By "lockdown" the firewall I mean completely turn off (and later turn on) the flow of data into and out of the network port. In ZA it's a snap to do this from the ZA icon in the system tray. This is the software equivalent of unplugging the network cable from the ethernet port.
I can't figure out a way - any way at all - to "lockdown" the NIS firewall. Is this possible?
