From time-to time NIS will pop up a message, for example saying the PC needs to be rebooted.
Trouble is, it also pops these messages up on my Linksys media center extender, which then promptly resets. If you reconnect, it just happens again, until you go to the PC and acknowledge the message there.
It's seriously annoying when it happens in the middle of watching TV or a movie, but it is also a support nightmare for me if I'm away from home and it happens to a member of the family.
I reported to tech support, but weren't able to help, and didn't seem interested in taking it to engineering. I'm not sure they even understood what a media center extender is, and kept asking for a screenshot. I have one now - I took it with a digital camera pointed at the TV!
Am I the only NIS users with a media center extender, or the only one having this problem?
