Thanks for reply.

Virus def date was as  of Today  ..21 Apr 08

Tried the Autofix button, went through 2-3 different menus fixes. Eventually the Intelligent auto updating program fixed the updates.

Back to green now

Strange though  it repeatedly kept on failing ?

Appreciate the help though.

Hi Everyone,

I have a problem with the NIS 2008 repeatedly notifying that I need to update the program, even though there  no more  available.

I 've already downloaded the latest updates and the "fix now " button  still asks for Liveupdate . When I do go to update screen it checks, states it completed loking  and message reads  at bottom "your system up to date "  But the Orange warning flasher states it needs attention.

Any Suggestions ?

Thanks

hi Kamaluk - can you relay what your virus definition date is? i've seen quite a few posts about def's falling out of date even though liveupdate says none are available. also, can you confirm whether you have any error messages - here's how to check:

1. click on the Norton Internet Security tab in main program

2. open the Reports and Statistics section and click "View Activity Log".

3. At the bottom will be an Error Messages section.

also, did you try autofix? run it through Help & Support in main program.
