NIS 2008: Symantec Service Framework has stopped working

Hello Everyone

I'm running Vista Home Premium with NIS 2008. Since a couple of days, I've been getting the following message pop up: "Symantec Service Framework has stopped working". After this, I am unable to relaunch NIS 2008 and system requires a re-boot inorder to open NIS. Please see below the full error description. Request your help and inputs. Thanks in advance.
