I just upgraded to Norton Internet Security 2009. It works fine, and I note a considerable improvement in bootup and access time over NIS 2008.
I also have been using Webroot Spy Sweeper for about two years. It seems to play well with NIS 2009, but my question is do I even need Spy Sweeper anymore after my definitions subscription runs out? Spy Sweeper reports that it has blocked over 14,000 items during the time I've used it, but it hasn't snared anything that NIS hasn't. Seems I am being unnecessarily redundant using both with the false notion I'm getting double the security.
Anyone have any experience/thoughts/recommendations?
