NIS 2009 + any SATA Drive = Failure?!

Hello,

since the beginning of this year i'm trying to install NIS2009 on my computer.

I'm not going to repeat all the mess i've been through so that thread will show some questions i allready asked but it had never a solution at hand..

Now after testing my whole system, changing ram, drives, etc, configuring bios as it should need to be ..

I'm coming to this conclusion:

Any SATA drives in my computer with win XP or VISTA on it + NIS2009 =  system hangup.. In vista NIS2009 can be installed but it will never load and makes vista very very unstable.

Now, any IDE drive with win XP or VISTA + NIS2009 = Excellent!

I'm reminding you that every fresh install has got the latest updates, even the nforce chipset has the latest drivers installed.

My question for you is: Is it Norton(NIS2009-360) that can't work with that chipset/motherboard/driver or is something wrong with my chipset/motherboard/sata driver??

I have to say when it's a fresh install, and i don't install norton at all, i don't have any problems with the sata drives, not with any software as far as i can tell.

I hope after all those months of fresh installs, hardware switching etc... Someone can give me an answer to my problem

Regards
