If my computer has been off for a few days and I boot up, about 15 minutes later all the background tasks start running simultaneously. While the combined CPU usage of these tasks isn't more than about 20%, the disk access of all the tasks brings my laptop to a grinding halt until most of them finish running. This can take awhile since they are all competing for disk access.
Can you please patch it so the background tasks run sequentially instead of all at once?
