Hello,
I have tried the solutions available on the board but none seem to work for me. I am using the most recent version of the NIS 2009 install. I have removed the infcache.1 file, run the removal tool, cleared all of the Norton/ symantec product information from the PC and it still doesn't work. I called tech support yesterday, and under a remote session, they attempted the same things that I tried and got the same result. In every case MSInfo32.exe goes to approx 98% of computer processing. Once it maxed out, the install goes to remove the files and prompts a restart.
Any ideas or places to look that may create a solution to the issue?
