Hi. I <3 NIS.
I have recently reformatted my computer, reinstalled NIS 2006 and downloaded the upgrade to NIS 2009 with all updates. Following the insertion of a DVD+RW into my Toshiba Satellite's Matshita DVD-RAM drive I attempt to do a quick format (via DLA). This results in a sudden Blue Screen. The first couple of times Windows error reporting said it was the drive. But the third time around it said that it was the antivirus.
This makes sense because it wasn't until I downloaded NIS 2009 that I got this error. Interestingly enough I don't remember before formatting the computer that NIS 2009 ever giving a hard time. I did, however, reformatt the computer because a movie-editing software was causing Blue Screens just for inserting DVD+RWs.
What is the problem? NIS? The drive?
