NIS 2009 claims insufficient disk space to download new updates after running for < 1 day.

I've noticed recently that NIS 2009 is unable to download new updates after running for < 1 day. It claims there is insufficient disk space, however there is plenty of available disk space. Restarting the service does not resoilve the probelm. A system reboot resolves it, but the probelm always returns in less than a day.

 

This is relatively new behavuor - sometime within the last month is when I noticed it starting to occur.

 

It's very annoying to have to restart my pc once a day to get new updates as they become available.

Windows Vista Home Premium SP2

Dell Inspiron 350

2 GB RAM

129 GB free disk space on C: drive
