Hi everybody!
I got a set-top box HDD media player which can be connected to the PC by USB. After connecting the player to the PC it stopped working. So I contacted the manufacturer of the player and they said that the HDD is formatted using Linux and that NIS/NAV 2009 somehow corrupts the formatting of the disk so the player can't access it anymore and I need to delete all partitions on the HDD and format them again (the player does that for me). As solution they suggested to disable NIS 2009 every time I want to connect the player to my PC.
So my question is:
Is there any way to undo the "corruptions" NIS made to the disk because I got some movies on the player I don't want to lose by deleting the partitions?
And is there any way to stop NIS from doing that changes to the disk except of disabling it every time?
Kind regards,
Ignitor
