NIS 2009 firewall blocking my wireless router from access the internet

I recently purchased NIS 2009 and successfully installed.  I previously was using a Zonealarm Security Suite which I successfully uninstalled.  I'm running Windows XP and no other security products.

I have a wireless network with my TiVo, Wii, and Sat radio using a Linksys WRT54G compact wireless router.  For several hours after the NIS install, I had no issues connecting to the internet.  The next morning, I couldn't access the internet at all.  After determining that my cable modem and service (TWC) was functioning properly, I tried to access the internet by bypassing the router and connecting the cable line directly into the computer and I was able to get a connection.  I now have an internet connection on my desktop, but my other devices are now idle since I've lost my wireless connection.

Since I thought the new firewall was blocking my connection, I tried to disable the firewall temporarily and it still did not work.

I checked the history logs through NIS and found several entries of "Default Block SSDP, Inbound TCP Connection", among others.

After searching through the forums, I believe the issue may have to do with tweaking the firewall rules, but I'm not that experienced enough to make a change while still being comfortable that I'm not sacrificing security.

I appreciate any ideas.  Thanks.
