NIS 2009 functionality questions.

Hi all -

 

I need to clarify something in NIS 2009.

 

Under *exactly* what conditions is a threat (i.e.. Virus, Malware, etc.) removed or placed in quarantine?

 

For example, Threat "A" is removed from the system, but Threat "B" is placed in quarantine.

 

Exactly what mechanism of action is responsible for that choice?
