NIS 2009 - IE toolbar will not stay hidden

I go to Tools/Toolbars and uncheck the NIS toolbar, keeps re-appearing.  How do I keep it hidden?

Simply right click on a blank spot under the address bar and untick Norton Toolbar. There is no toolbar option when I look under Tools. I find it under Tools/Enable or Disable Add ons. If you doing it that way then this is why your getting those results. IE wil always start with Add ons starting up.

It Should Stay Hidden!

That's why you can Tick or Un-Tick them :smileyhappy:

 

However!

They can be tricky at times :smileysurprised:

A few years ago.. I used to have a AOL Toolbar

That one took a bit of playing around with... Before it would stay - Hidden

 

I wonder if you've  got to turn NIS 09 - Anti-Phishing - OFF

Before the Toolbar can be successfully hidden.

If you do this...

Please make sure you turn IE7 - Anti-Phishing ... ON

Its says IE in the subject line Zana. Firefox doesnt even have that option.
