Nis 2009 missing virus notify

Solved. I rebooted twice and the problem disappeared.

The notificafions now works fine.

Hi Axios, how long did you wait before you rebooted?

 

After any detection, NIS will scan your system for reference to the file, and depending on the type of detection, e.g. if it came down via a web browser, will clear the browser cache.

Clearing the IE browser cache can take a significant amount of time.

But, clearing the browser cache the second time, will be very quick.

 

This may explain what you experienced.

I have installed NIS 2009 without any problem and I have added the Add-On Pack 3.0

Did you re-Fresh the Logs’ Page after you did this test?
