NIS 2009 Tamper Protection and System Restore

I know it has been said to turn OFF the Tamper Protection when using System Restore to go back to a later date. If I want to CLEAN ALL Restore points (disable / enable) what setting should I put the Tamper Protection, OFF or ON, or does it matter?

Hi ProTruckDriver,

 

You do not have to turn off Tamper Protection to create or delete restore points.

 

That action is only needed if you wish to restore your computer to an earlier point.
