I have recently upgraded to version 2010 and have notice problems with anti-spam.
1) SPAM that was blocked in 2009 is making its way through the filter.
2) When I mark something as SPAM, does not get added to the blocked list. The email is moved to the SPAM folder, but the subject line is not modified to indicate it is SPAM like it used to.
3) Even though I mark things as SPAM, when the message comes back again, it does not get auto placed in the SPAM folder. I have to select it as SPAM.
This is very frustrating since it worked great in 2009. Any ideas what the issue might be?
in another thread. It's by a Symantec Staffer -- names in red -- and you'll see about the different method now being used. Read any other messages from him or other staffers and perhaps scan through the thread from the beginning, if you have time.
Then it you have some specific questions that have not been answered jump in and ask them.
It's also a good idea to say what version of Windows you are using and what your email client is -- Outlook Express?
