It started 2 days ago when I wanted to shutdown the computer. A message popped up preventing me from shutting down because of this program called ccsvshost or (can’t exactly remember the name). It gave me the option of ending the program or canceling shutdown. I canceled the shutdown because I’m not sure whether the problem would persist or any other adverse effects take place. I tried to find norton on the system tray so that I can run a scan but it inexplicably disappeared. I then used the norton icon on my desktop to try to scan, but after 20-30 seconds of nothing happening, a message popped up stating that norton couldn’t be started and there was the option to run or cancel it. It was a windows message asking me if I wanted to run it(I assume it was for the intention of fixing the problem) but i canceled because again, I did not want to blindly follow a path that I wasn’t certain would fix the problem. My computer has been on for the duration the problem started, and I would like to know how to deal with this. I’m also pretty computer illiterate so my apologies if I misused certain terms or couldn’t properly explain the problem.
