NIS 2010 Does not respect settings

Two problems:

 

1) I have set "Idle Time Scans" to weekly, however NIS2010 performs the scan more than once a day, it seems to scan whenever im idle regardless.

 

2) I have set it to NOT scan within compressed files (turned it Off), however everytime it performs the idle scan mentioned above it pops up the result window asking me what to do with the zip files that contain a virus (with only the option to Delete).

 

It seems NIS2010 is not respecting the settings. This did not happen when using the 2009 version. Any ideas?

Thanks. I assume I need to add those zip files to the exclusion list because Norton already detected them - otherwise it will not scan inside compressed files again, is my understanding correct?
