I've been using NIS 2010 and suddenly realised it stopped downloading updates (it happen ~ 10 days ago).
I've tried to run LiveUpdate manually but it said: network connection troubles, can't get response from servers (but internet is ok). I've goggled a lot and tried: windows restore points, full system scan, turned off all other network adopters and checked all said here.
Nothing solves this trouble. Then I've downloaded Norton Bootable Recovery Tool and tried to scan system.
None of troubles were found.
I've also tried re-install NIS (even with remove tool) and finally download NIS 2010 (found it available @ Norton account).
It doesn't want to be activated - I see same connection error: "No response received from Symantec server".
BTW, I've got 2 computers in my place (same internet provider). Second one is OK (it has NIS 2010).
