Hi,
Recently installed NIS 2010, all fine until I start the network map. After clicking on continue at the "Initialization Required" box all appears to be OK *until* the next reboot. Upon rebooting NIS will not start, no icon appears in the system tray and the Gadget just has the revolving circle. Eventually whole machine becomes unresponsive. Only solution is to start in safe mode, uninstall NIS, run the removal tool, reboot and then re-install NIS. All is then fine until I initialize the network map again. Reproducible everytime. Any idea what could be causing this?
