I have 1 NIS 2010 license up to 3 PC.
And all of my 3 PCs are dual boot Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows XP Pro.
Already installed and activated NIS 2010 on Win 7 Ultimate OS.
The questions is :
Can i use the license to install and activate NIS 2010 on my second boot OS that is Windows XP Pro?
Its still on the same PC, same hardware, just different in booting OS.
Is it allowed or not?

Yes, it is allowed, and it will be counted as one activation on a dual-boot system. You can read more over here in the post written by a Symantec employee (the first part of the post refers to VM environment; the second part refers to dual booting):
