I have systems running NIS 2010 and others running N-360v4. One of our systems running NIS 2010 is used as a file and print server (Windows XP sp 3) for our home network. Normally, that server (Dell PowerEdge 420) runs with no user logged in. My question is: Will all of the background functions of NIS 2010, including idle time scanning, etc., run with the computer running but no user logged in?
Is that also the case for machines running Norton 360 v. 4?
