NIS 2010 possibly missing catching this malware?

Hi All,

I am using NIS 2010.  Runs great.  When I log onto my account (admin accnt) on my laptop (Dell M65 - XP Pro) the following message come up.

"16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

 C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe

The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.

 CS: 0dbd IP:020b OP:63 69 38 78 4c Choose 'Close' to terminate the application."

I did some research and roughly half of the info says its a form of malware/spyware.  The other half claims not.  NIS finds nothing.  I am also using Threatfire and it isn't finding anything.  Clicking 'Close' does shut down the message, but I have concerns since I can't seem to rid this computer of this problem.   Thanks ahead of time for any help..............TheTowner
