NIS 2010: Privacy - Private data being sent to Symantec?

Having just upgraded to NIS 2010, I see there are a number of "features" that seem to send a lot of information to Symantec.

In previous versions it was relatively simple to first find these items, and then turn them off.

With NIS 2010, the built-in Help function does not indicate which features actually send information to Symantec.

For example, Network Settings, Email Protection, Web Query the help differentiates between LOCAL FILTERS and if an email passes those, then later on it says your email is sent to Norton AntiSpam.  However, it is not clear if it means Norton Antispam folder or Symantec Antispam servers via a Web Query.

Can Symantec please post or email me a list of all functions that send my private data to Symantec?  I don't need yet another company collecting personal information from me without me knowing about it.

Thanks.
