Howdy,
My XP box has 3 accounts on it. I have SP3 and ie 8. All accounts are administrators. On the account where I had initially installed the product, Safeweb works fine in Google and Bing and I can see the green or red circles. When I log in to the other accounts, and visit Google or bing, they are not present. Everything is correct with the sliders in the WEB portion of the interface. So, i tried enabling the norton toolbar, but all i get is a blank line and no text where the toolbar should be placed in ie 8. Something wrong here. All other portions of NIS work fine.
Short of uninstalling and reinstalling the product, is there a simpler fix?
One more question, if I do need to uninstall and reinstall the product, how can i export all my configuration settings to a file or such and import it back with the new installation. I really don't wish to re configure everything again.
