Hi everybody,
This is probably an incredibly dumb question, but nevertheless here goes…..
I recently switched to NIS 2011 from a “rival” product, and bought a 3 PC licence version of NIS (on disk). I didn’t intend to use the 2 “spare” licences but as they came as part of the sales promotion I didn’t say no!
My licence is installed on a 32 bit XP Home desktop machine.
Now my youngest son has purchased his first laptop – he has decided to return to university and go for a post grad degree. The laptop he has bought has a 64 bit version of Windows 7 and came pre-installed with a 3 months trial of McAfee.
So I was wondering if I could install one of my “spare” licences for NIS 2011 onto his laptop rather than buying a years subscription to McAfee once the trail has expired?
The reason I ask is that I don’t understand how my copy of NIS 2011 can operate on both a 32 bit and also a 64 bit version of Windows.
Is there some drawback
