I go to my friend's house once a week and play the Facebook games with her. I have a Sony Vaio laptop and I just recently installed NIS 2011 on my computer. Before neither of us had any problem on her wireless network playing Farmville and Frontierville and anything else that had Flash player capability. But now, after I log on to her wireless network, all we get when we try to load those games is error messages and the internet suddenly slows way down.
I have tried to change the settings in the network map of NIS 2011, I have tried all four browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and IE 8), we have both rebooted our laptops, I have disabled all Norton capbilities, and nothing has worked. Her internet is just fine as long as I don't log my computer on to it. Once I log on, suddenly the FB games won't load, nor does any web page that has flash player content load, and all other pages load very slowly. (It's taken me almost 20 minutes to set up an account here, respond to e-mail verification and post this message, all because these pages take so long to load.)
The only thing that has changed since the last time I was at my friend's house is that I installed NIS 2011. Before that, I could log on to her network just fine, and we could both play our games just fine. (I bought this laptop brand new from Best Buy a month ago.) And I haven't had any of these problems with the wireless network at my house, only when I come visit my friend and try to use hers. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
