Last Night
After reinstalling – Norton Utilities 14.5 – Error – Contacted – Support - Tech took control and removed and reinstalled Norton Internet Security 2011 – now NIS OK.
But:-
Norton Safe Web Lite – NIS-ESD – 18-5-0-125-EN.EXE - Application – left on my Desk top by Norton Support Technician. – AFTER TAKING CONTROL OF MY PC.
Problem - Event Viewer – showing: 1-warning and 3 errors
Error – 7000 - Service Control Manager SSPORT service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified - was there previously.
1 Warning + 2 New Errors
Warning - 263 – Plug and Play – Service NSL may not have unregistered for device event notification before it was stopped.
Error – 7000 - The Process Monitor service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified.
Error – 7024 – The Norton Safe Web Lite service terminated with service-specific error – 4294967295(0xFFFFFFFF).
Today Norton Support Tech removed Norton Safe Web Lite
But errors are still there on my Event Viewer
Any Suggestions?
