NIS 2011 has a red cross mark

Hello, I have been using NIS 2011 since I bought and installed it 2 almost two months ago. Now I have a problem with it and it seems to be an update issue. I tried to run live update and its working perfectly but still the red cross mark is still there. Please help.

Are you getting any errors with any of the parts of NIS? Please check that the date and time are correct and that there aren't any errors having to do with time. Thanks.

The red cross can come from not having run a scan -- you might try running a quick scan and seeing if that fixes it.

 

I thought that when you got a warning flag like that that it offered to Fix It -- did it and have you tried?

Tks for the help... Its okay now... You are right the date is not correct.. I did not notice it. Somebody might have change it without my knowlwdge. Thanks again you are all a great help for me...

It's not unknown for Nanny Microsoft to decide you are in the Pacific Time Zone ...... and actually I think there was a Windows Update on Time Zones recently; they tend to come out each year when some country, or President, changes how theirs works.

Since the program had been installed about 2 months, there must have been some scans run during such a long time frame, so I didn't think that was the problem.
