I am a long-time user of NIS. When I attempted to install NIS 2011 3 User from CD, I was never given the opportunity to enter my new Product ID. Instead, it installed the new version but said I had only 3 days left to my subscription. When attempting to activate from my online Norton account, I was only given to option to purchase a new download of NIS 2011 at the same price I had just paid for the CD. Again, no place to enter Product ID. I had to go to chat to find out that I had to click the Renew button (hidden at the bottom in small type) in the new NIS main page. This is a new and counterintuitive approach to the install and
should have been documented on the installation instructions that came with the CD. It was not.
