NIS 2011, Index.qbs file, and back-ups : help plz.

"lo  NIS user for many years. Updated XPSP3, updated NIS 2011 I use various ISR tools and in particular FDISR: an excellent app. FDISR uses VSS for snapshot creations and updating snapshots. When creating recovery snapshots, FDISR is now sticking on a file : Index.qbs. Google shows that Lenovo RnR also has problems with this file. I see that many other image apps have intermittent problems with NIS going a long way back. FDISR error message is : “wrong file size and date” in the recovery snapshot. Never had this isuue with previous NIS versions and FDISR has been here for 5 years. What are the options here to stop that error. Is index.qbs a file that can be deleted ?? IS it safe to exclude this file in system snapshots ?? Disabling tamper Protection and Auto scan does not fix the problem. Is there any option to shut down NIS 2011 for imaging ?? ( It’s obvious that for many reasons there should be !! ) A couple of other points: I’m not sure I can live with having to crawl all over my box to exclude the files that NIS regularly FPs. !! LOL; including other developers anti-rootkits !! Where is/are the manual options to “Ignore this File/.exe”, rather than having the files swept away. As per many other posters there needs to be better granular control or at least “expert” installation options so that Sonar and Autoscan doesn’t wipe the crap out of my tools before I can even get to it. NIS also lights up on system snapshot/VSS operations when those same “excluded” files are Accessed by VSS. !! PITA. My subs are due soon: the FDISR problem may be a game breaker . Any advices and answers greatly appreciated. Tx PS: please dont tell me about FDISR as abandonware: it is still one of the best ever ISR tools. Regards.
